Staying at Heron Cottage was an absolute delight! the perfect location allowed us to easily explore the beautiful Northumberland region, with the coast and moorlands just a short drive away. Despite being in the country, we were pleasantly surprised to find a charming local town just 10 minutes away. the cottage itself was not only cosy and clean, but also provided a peaceful retreat with lovely gardens and a courtyard to enjoy. Although the kitchen cupboard space was limited, the spacious bedroom storage made up for it. Overall, the quiet location, great amenities, and convenient proximity to Newcastle and the airport made our stay a definite recommendation for anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway.
